I was asked by, Robin-Marie Smith to be part of a design team, to kick off a new stamp line for her..."Dream Thicket". Along with a number of other talented artist, we were asked to incorporate this new line of stamps into our art. What an awesome set of stamps to work with. I had a ton of fun, seeing where they would take me.
Years ago, when I first got into rubber stamping, it was the bold, chunky stamps that drew me into stamping. So, imagine when I was asked to work with these...oh yea! LOVE at first sight.
Here is some of the samples, that I created from these stamps...
For this sample, it was all about inks and paint. Taking paint and smearing it around and stamping into the paint with the heart stamp.
For this piece, I worked with paints, inks, pencils and words.
I incorporated the leaves in this piece, to represent the wings of this angel. I then worked with the stars stamp to create my background.
On this book, I incorporated vintage papers, tissues, paints, inks, pencils and used the flower, heart and circle border stamp.
This last sample, I stepped a bit out of my comfort zone. Loved how this turned out...too funny!
With the other talented artist that were part of this, we are doing a blog hop. I have listed their names, which if you click on the names, it will direct you to their sites and you can see how they choose to incorporate these awesome stamps into their art pieces.
