This year I was asked to be part of a Christmas ornament swap that Deryn Mentock was putting together. It was such fun to be able to swap with these talented, inspiring and beautiful ladies.
Here are the ornaments from this swap....
This first one is from Sally Connell Turlington
She created this amazing angel soldered book. I just love it!
The next one is from Robin Nowak
She created a heart book and my word that she tucked inside was..."soul" I love the colors and how they sparkle.
The next ornament is from, Kelly English Snelling
She created this fun clay pig ornament. She claims that she has an adventurous spirit...I love it! It so speaks to my heart!
This next ornament is from Diane Cook
What a lovely ornament that she created using a handmade bezel that she created, resin and old doll parts! I love it and how it shines on my tree.
The next ornament is from Deryn Mentock
I love my angels and I can't wait to add this to my collection of them...love the colors!
My final one is from JoAnna Pierotti
She created this beautiful book from felt and added her lovely embellishments that speak of faith, love and peace!
This is the ornament that I created for each lady...."the gift"
I tucked a note into each bag, stating what each piece represented to me....
Wood....Christ dying on the cross
Nest.... The gift of enternal life that was given to each, by Christ dying on the cross
Old hymn paper.... God's written words
Chain.... The bondage that was broken by Christ dying in our place on the cross
Heart... The greatest gift of all...."love"
Diamonds.... The gift of friendship
Metal... the strength that we receive through Christ
These are the gift bags that I created for my ornaments
Thank you ladies...this truly was an honor to be able to be part of this swap! I will treasure these ornaments for years.
