My next piece is a journal wrap and reflects this message....
I recycled a pair of my son's jeans and incorporated the pocket from those jeans. You could store your phone, paper, pens, pencils, etc. into this pocket.
If you are wanting to learn how I create my journal wraps, clink on the link below and it will direct you to my on-line class. The class is being offered and held at Artful Gathering. An online art convention event that is offering classes from a number of amazing and talented teachers. This event is only held, once a year and it is something that you don't want to miss. There are two sessions to choose from. Session one is already into it's first week, so you still one more week to purchase classes from session one, but you will still have 5 weeks to finished them too. Session two classes do not start until July 15 and runs for 6 weeks. For more info. regarding this amazing event, click on the link below.
Tomorrow is opening day for .... ARTFUL GATHERING online art retreat.
I will be teaching this journal wrap in session one. Session two doesn't open for another 6 weeks, which I also will be teaching another class.
"Recycled/reusable journal wrap class"
Have you ever wanted to make a piece of art, that could be reused over and over again? Have you ever wanted to recycle clothing, that you or your family have outgrown or that is worn out? In this class, I will teach you how to take those everyday, worn out, discarded and vintage clothing and incorporate them into your art.
I will show you how to create a journal wrap that will allow you to either display the piece for others to view it or create one, that can be used in your everyday routine.
Regardless of how you chose to use your wrap, it will have others wanting one for themselves.
This year, I decided to offer kits for this class. I only have a handful of them and they are selling. If you are planning on taking my class and wish to purchase my kit, you can click on the link below and it will direct you to my etsy shop. You do not have to purchase a kit for this class. Most of us have items laying around the house that you could recycled for this project and it will work just fine.
