Early Morning Thoughts

Time

Where has the time gone...it just seemed like the beginning of Summer and now, we are getting to the end of it. 

Between graduation parties, one child moving away to college, another to another state, getting one ready for the beginning of school, trying my hand for the first time with white water rafting...yikes!  what a blast... I feel like time is flying by too fast, but I did find a little time to fill orders and still create.  Like for most, art is my therapy.  It allows me to reconnect with myself, with nature and my faith.

mini books

Here is a group of mini books that I did up.  I chose a few images and decided to do them a couple of different ways.

Searching

Title of my next book..."Searching"   This one is done using a composition book, but first I took a piece of heavy watercolor paper and built my layers from that point.  I incorporated vintage papers, commercial papers, inks, acrylics and pencils.  I then glued it to the cover of the book.

Journal wraps

I can never understand, why I find that my creative juices always want to flow when I don't have alot of time to devote to my studio.  But none the less, I will give up sleep time to create and this is what I have been doing...journal wraps.
