Here is another piece in my series of note card boxes.   On this one, I decided to use a vintage cardboard box and solder the sides.  

I chose to do 5 note cards with envelopes.  You could journal, sketch, record a special event or whatever your heart desires on them.

This next piece of art is what I consider, a gift within a gift.  One that keeps on giving.

I designed a box that holds 10 cards.  You could use these for gift tags, mini notes, a just because note, sketch, journal, scrapbook a mini event  or whatever your heart desires.  The possibilities are limitless.

 
 

Since the cards are a bit of a snug in the box, I designed it so that all you have to do is pull up on the pink ribbon and it will pull out your cards.

The Caterpillar and the Bee

Whenever I hear those words, I either think of Spring or Summer.  The Caterpillar isn't my favorite, but it is what it turns into, that I love...the butterfly. 

On my next book, I decided to use something that would remind me of warmth, freshness, sun, new beginnings...this is where I came up for the title.

Lately, whenever I feel that I need to step out of my box or routine, I will change something.  I decided on this book, that I wouldn't coffee/tea stain the pages.  Now, I love to coffee/tea stain the heck out of things.  I have done this for years and probably will for many more.  But, I felt that since I do this so much, that I needed to change it up a bit.  I found that it also, free's up my creativity. 

Wait until I show you my next item, which it is not a book this time.

I left the back of the book cover blank, this would allow the person to add either a image, quote, poem or whatever they chose too.

A girl's best friend...diamonds

Oh, how true for most of us...

This is my next little blank journal.  I didn't embellish any of the pages on this book.  You wouldn't think that it would be that hard for me to do that, but as soon as I put a book together... my creativity kicks in and I can see so many possibilities for each page.

days of summer

I just love the different seasons and how each one brings so much to each of us to enjoy.  Summer...love the warmth, sun, barbecue's, friends getting together, etc.

So, in the spirit of Summer, I created this little book...."days of summer".

Fireflies

Remember when you were younger and you couldn't wait until it got dark, so you could go out and catch...fireflies.  How fun it would be to see how many  you could catch and how they would all light up.   Oh, to be young again and have that carefree and innocence.  I am a firm believer that we all should keep a child like heart and remember to run, laugh, jump and dance.  Even when I get to be 90, I hope to be able to still swing, dance and catch fireflies.

Back home...

Well, after 2000 miles each way, goodbyes and tears...I am finally back.  Our daugher is moved out West and doing great.  I am learning to adjust...lol.  Our weather going out and coming back was awesome.  Love the openess of the West. 

It is great to be back into my studio and this is what my next item is...
