MIA = missing in action
Hard to believe that it has been a while, since I last posted. Sometimes, when I find myself in a creative mode, I need to shut the world out for a bit. This allows me to keep the creative juices flowing. I find that with so much that we have going on in our everyday life, that life can become noisy and for me to be creative...I need to shut the noise out. So, when everyone is gone, I close the door to my studio and create.
I have a number of items that I have been working on and I will post each one as they are done.
Today, I wanted to share with you a painting that I have been working on. I painted this on plaster.
The size of this is 15 x 10. Wouldn't this look amazing on a piece of old wood?
I did want to share with you a picture of one of our labs...Sammy. She had to be put down a couple of weeks ago, due to age and illnesses she was going through. We will miss you girl.
I hope everyone has a wonderful and creative day!

Yes, your painting would look great on a piece of old wood! It's the perfect substrate.
I'm so sorry about your Sammy. It's such a painful thing to to through. We had to have our Shih Tzu put down last April, and I still miss her every day. My heart goes out to you!

How sad for you,and your family, you had to say goodby to a loved friend, I know it is difficult, and send warm thoughts to you.

The painting is beautiful. Painting it on plaster gave it so much texture, love it.
So sorry to hear of the loss of your Sammy, our pets are so special to us.

So sorry to hear about Sammy. I know how hard it is to make that decision. On a happier not, the painting is wonderful.
