Merry Christmas everyone....I hope this day and the coming year, brings you peace, love and joy.
For the past several years, I have always created a Christmas book. This year, I started to wonder if I would have time, but also....would my creativity be there for it. Well, once again, I was reminded of having faith, that all good things come in time.
"the christmas gift"
The spine reads...."seeker of the light".
This first and second pages, I incorporated the hymns, telling of the birth of Christ.
This back cover, I have incorporated a vintage coin purse, with a cross tucked inside. I glued the word, index on top of it. When one picks up a book and is seeking answers, we turn to the index page. For ones seeking answers to their journey of life, only have to seek Jesus to find them.
I first started off with book covers, dated 1885. Then I attached fabrics that I coffee stained, along with vintage fabrics. I then incorporated 30 pages of blank coffee stained pages. If you count the backsides that would make 60 pages.
I then created an image on the front that consist of, arcylics, tissues, vintage papers and wax.
The spine consists of the words...."seeker of the light", vintage fabrics, commercial fabrics and stitching.
I incorporated a few vintage pages from a hymn book, dated 1885.
I hope that you have enjoyed my christmas book for 2011.
I will be listing this in my etsy shop, later today.

This is awesome!!!
Best wishes for the festive season. Hope it’s a fabulous Christmas for you and yours! Health, Happiness and may all of your dreams come true for 2012!
