I am a few days late in getting these next pieces on my blog, but I made it...:)
My next piece is all about growing...
I wanted to create a piece, that would allow the person to reuse it everyday, if they chose to. I created a bag/pouch, where you could store your pens, pencils, brushes, scissors, paper, etc.
I incorporated vintage feed sack, vintage fabrics, vintage trim, vintage buttons, recycled some jeans from my kids and coffee stained some commercial fabrics. I machine stitched a flower, incorporating some resin paper for the leaves.
My next piece is a small journal..."spreading my wings", which if you look at it, all about growing too.
I incorporated a number of vintage laces, vintage fabrics, ribbon, remnants from a late 1800's ball gown, commercial fabrics and paper. I made a bezel and filled it with resin.
My next and last piece for the day is..."your story"
This is an accordian book that I have created. The cover has been coated with wax. The tree was an image transfer that I did. I have added fibers, buttons and materials along the edges to enhance the book.
I will be listing these in my etsy.

All three of these are lovely. My favorite one is "Spreading My Wings". But naturally, that one got snatched up immediately! I wanted to buy it for a gift. Also wanted to say that your remnants and fragments pieces are lovely also... as is the story that went with them!
