When one thinks of this, we tend to think about all the blessings that make us joyful, happy and peaceful. Sometimes, our blessings come through failures, tears, hard times, etc. I have found through my own personal times, when things look like failures, brokenness, hard times, etc., it is in those times, that I found the blessings. Now finding the blessings, sometimes is the challenge.
It is in the waiting, that tends to test us. We sometimes, feel like we got lost or forgotten. Like, life when on for everyone else, but we got the rotten deal of the plan. What I have found is, if we just hold onto our faith, the blessings will be revealed to us.
Sometimes, our blessings is through the small things. Such as tears...a good cry does wonders for stress relief. But, sometimes, it is through the tears that we find healing. When you think that no one notices you, a stranger smiles at you. When we feel that we are at the end and alone, you find out who your real friends, truly are. When you think that the world is a hard and sad place, then you see through a child's eyes and laughter and once again.... remember. Sometimes, through the angry, we find forgiveness and the gift of being able to extend that to others. Thinking that the rain won't end and suddenly, the clouds part and the sun reveals itself.
The gift of blessings is to be able to see them and accept them as blessings.
With this in mind, I created this next piece of art...
