This is the title of my next book. We all have moments that define us, ones that we cherish and want to revisit from time to time. What better place to preserve them, then a keepsake book. I decided to make a fabric book and a rather large one at that. It seems that sometimes, I start off with a small project and before you know it, wham....it turns out to be a large one. None the less, I love this book. The feel of it and all of it's vintage fabrics, has me wanting to hug and hold this close to me.
The size of this book is roughly, 11 x 11, with about 4" in depth. Once, I got started filling it, I couldn't seem to stop. The image of flowers that I used, were flowers that my husband gave me recently. As they were starting to dry out, I snapped a photo of them and printed the image onto fabric. I then did some light washes of acrylics, pencils, etc, onto the photo.
This book would make a wonderful Mother's day gift, Wedding, baby shower, bridal shower registry book, journal, sketch, light watercolors, scrapbook, etc., whatever your heart desires.
I decided to pull out more of my colorful vintage fabrics and use them in this book. I originally had wanted the book to be all creams, but once I started adding colors, I ending up loving how they added to this book.
These are just some of the pages out of this book. I have listed this in my etsy.
