This is my newest book that I just finished. The theme is about never losing your inner child. I love how this book is bursting with lots of vintage goodies. I have included a number of signature pages, waiting to be filled with thoughts and dreams.
I am sure most of us can remember having a day that it seems we are continuously being blessed over and over. Well, I am having one of those days and those are the days that you never want to end! When I came home from being treated to a wonderful lunch by my husband, I found this package waiting for me. It is from my friend Lori Lundy. Now, anyone who knows Lori, knows that if you have a package waiting for you from her, you are in for a treat. She is an awesome and talented artist. I am truly blessed... I wished that I would of first taken a picture of the lovely gift wrapping that she did, but I was so excited to see what was in it, that I forgot to. Look and see what she sent me.
I just had to show everyone what was waiting for me when I got home today. I had purchased this precious angel last week and couldn't wait to get her. I have collected angels for years. Angels hold a significant meaning to me and I love having them and also using them in my art.
Ok, here is another peek of my studio. As I get more of it cleaned, I am able to show you what it really looks like without all the mess. I have been in this craft for over 15 years and didn't realize, that I do save everything. I have been donating alot of items, so hopefully it won't be long and I can get back to creating on a regular basis.
I have been in the process of downsizing my studio and I came across some art that I did a while ago. I wished that I could leave all of my past work out in my studio, but it would be overflowing and I would be tripping over myself. I have been collecting old boxes to store past books that I have made, I feel that this would at least keep them dust free. In the near future I will share my collection of boxes.
I have listed another book that I just finished in etsy. One of the hardest things about making my books, is knowing when to quit. I love filling up my books with so many words, images, objects, that I have a hard time knowing when to stop. This was a fun book to make, I love all the different colors and how they all came together. The book is overflowing with stuff. Take a look and I hope that you enjoy looking as much as I enjoyed making it.
My newest book that I just completed....I am listing it in my etsy. I also sell at a local shop and have been for a while now. I use to sell in a number of shops until I got seriously ill a few years ago. I had to pull everything out and concentrate on healing and thanks to God, I am almost fully recovered and am trying to make items to sell at the shop and put on my etsy. So, check the book out, hope you enjoy it.
I am still working on two more books, hopefully I will have them completed by this weekend. Look for them at the beginning of next week.
I am still in the process of cleaning house. I have been collecting items for a number of years and feel that I need to downsize a little, so I am offering some goodies in my etsy. I will be adding more over the next couple of days, so check back.
